The Visayan spotted deer, the Philippine naked-backed fruit bat, and the Negros shrew are some of the animals that live here.

This is now one of the newest places for tourists to visit in Negros Occidental.

Danjugan Island

Why sugar? You could say that the beach’s sands look like sugar powder because they are fine and brown.
It is one of the most popular places for tourists to visit in Negros Occidental.
There are several places here that are mostly known for snorkelling and scuba diving.
Don’t miss the chance to see a beautiful sunset when you come here. There is a hill close by that gives you a good view. Breathe. It’s not hard to get there.

Dalinson Falls

Dalinson Falls, which is 40 feet high, is said to be one of the places where Japanese riches are hidden.
Whether that is true or not, the views make it look like a great place for ecotourism.

Carbin Reef

Carbin Reef has a long beach that looks like the shape of a tongue when seen from above.
It is located in a vast marine area that spans more than 32,000 hectares.
The area is a natural wonder in and of itself. It is full of beautiful coral reefs and a wide variety of marine life.
There are also mangrove woods, which are home to more plants and animals. There aren’t many places like this in Negros Occidental just for tourists.

Malisbog Falls

Tinagong Dagat is situated atop a rock, with flat ground surrounding it. People think it is an old volcano crater.
When it rains, the hill fills with water and turns into a lagoon with 6 feet of depth. This means that hikers need to stay at higher levels.
But in the summer, it gets dry, which makes it a good place to set up a tent. Tropical rainforests surround it.
Tinagong Dagat is one of the new tourist spots in Negros Occidental.

Malanta-og Falls

Also, Malanta-og Falls is one of the most beautiful and one of the highest in the state. It falls more than 50 meters down to a beautiful pool with clear water.
Because the pool is deep, you can jump from one of the rocks around it into it. Make sure you can swim.
Malanta-og Falls is surrounded by dense woods, and wild monkeys often play on top of it.

Mount Talinis

It is a dormant volcano called Mount Talinis, but it does have live fumaroles where sulphuric gases come out.
It’s one of the province’s tallest hills. Because it has two peaks, it is often called “Cuernos de Negros” (Horns of Negros).
The mountain is also covered in thick woods, and it has a huge variety of plants and animals.
